Description: Metal City PD Pre-Production art In 1995 Metal City PD was a proposed animated project that was unsuccessfully pitched as both an animated film and TV series. The Hildebrandt Brothers were commissioned to produce a number of pre-production art pieces to aid in the development of the project. This piece shows the team getting some much needed R&R as they gather to play some cards. Each character is lively and animated, a difficult undertaking when illustrating robots.
