Description:
This menacing image of Sauron the Dark Lord from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings was created in 2001 by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt for a gallery show in Utah intitled "Relatively Speaking" featuring miniature paintings by artist that are somehow related to one another and also work together. This image is based on a sketch The Brothers did for a painting that would have been used for the 1979 calendar had it been done.
