Description:
In 1975 a book was published entitled “Clive: Inside the Record Business,” which chronicled the life of the music industry legend Clive Davis. During his career he dealt with artists at the top of the music industry food chain, including but not limited to Bob Dylan, the late Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, Jonny Cash and Miles Davis. When Bantam Books acquired the right to publish the soft cover edition of the book, they commissioned Greg and Tim Hildebrandt to do the cover art.
This is the final sketch and in signed by Greg & Tim Hildebrandt prior to Tim's death in 2006. |
