Description: This beautiful painting of Treasure Island was finished by Greg Hildebrandt for a cover for Marvel Comics. Greg was very excited to be asked if he would do the six covers for the "Marvel Illustrated: Treasure Island" series. It had been many years since Greg painted any Classic Illustrations, and he loves the Classics! In film, Greg's favorite line is from Disney’s Treasure Island movie when Long John Silver says “What fool cut up a bible!” This is cover #1 in the "Marvel Illustrated: Treasure Island" series.
