Description: SIGNED BY STAN LEE! The Incredible Hulk comes to life in this eye-popping giclee on canvas, an edition of just 70, reproduced from the original cover artwork by illustrator Dale Keown. Dale Keown was born in Canada and began working for Marvel Comics in 1989, where he first worked on Nth Man; The Ultimate Ninja. He took over the Incredible Hulk and created one of the most memorable runs of that book. In 1993, he created the character Pitt for Image Comics and later, for Full Bleed Studios (his own company). When he returned to Marvel, he re-teamed with writer Peter David on the Hulk and created designs for much of the Hulk memorabilia to coincide with the 2003 Hulk movie. His innovative cover designs and art for the Hulk have kept him in demand. In the landmark issue, Incredible Hulk #377, (published in 1991), the Hulk was synthesized into a new Hulk, who has the vast power of the Savage Hulk, the cunning of the Gray Hulk, and the intelligence of Bruce Banner. The cover of that issue has been powerfully reproduced for the new Marvel ArtWorks series. |
