Description:
In 1984, Greg Hildebrandt painted his illustrated edition of A Christmas Treasury. The book included the poem, Twas the Night Before Christmas, the story of the Nativity, and songs and carols that are beloved favorites of the Christmas season. This beautiful painting, The Elves Welcome You, was created in 1984 for the first edition of Greg's book. Each piece is done in acrylic paint on hard board. This is the first time they are being offered for sale. They would make a wonderful addition to a Hildebrandt or Christmas collector.
