TJ.B. Williams & Co. an all American Company & the Developers of Yankee Shaving soap, the first Manufactured soap for use in shaving cups. Still made today with the traditional formula! The original stone lithographed image was entered into the Library of Congress in 1873. The original chromolithographic image may even be a unique example as another has yet to be noted. A proud & fabulous Victorian era Barbershop or Tonsorial Parlor vignette. Caution your Barber, Nothing but Williams!! Metal sign looks all American for sure!
Each tin sign is designed and made in the United States using 24 gauge American steel and a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish. A vintaging process is then performed by hand to give these signs an aged look and feel. Each sign is drilled and riveted for easy hanging. All you need is 2 nails and a hammer!
Based on actual barber shop and shoeshine imagery.
