The book chronicles the printing layers for the Hand etched Lithograph Stones used for the Chromolithographic printing process. This was used for the label for the Advertising box of Empress Color Restorer. The proof book showed 28 steps to print this label. The completed image was Trademarked in 1915 dating this image to about 1914. Die Cut Metal sign perfectly mimics the colors of the original and enhances the details of the label art. Each tin sign is designed and made in the United States using 24 gauge American steel and a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish. A vintaging process is then performed by hand to give these signs an aged look and feel. Each sign is drilled and riveted for easy hanging. All you need is 2 nails and a hammer!
