Description: This is a preliminary sketch for the painting titled, “Against All Odds.” Greg has been a long time fan of Batman. Throughout the years, he has drawn a few sketches, a few blackboards, and only one Batman painting—UNTIL NOW! This sketch is a preliminary for the third painting in the series titled, “The Dark Side.” Greg was very excited to paint Gotham city’s dark defender larger than life! Batman reaches toward the viewer as if he is going to pull you right into his world, and makes you feel as if he were about to leap into action! This is the final sketch that was used to transfer the art onto the canvas. Greg drew this sketch on two pieces of paper that were taped together. Signed by Greg Hildebrandt.
