Description:
Thor's Lady Sif is not a force to reckon with! Based on the Norse goddess Sif, she first appeared in Journey Into Mystery Issue #102 (1964) as a fierce Asgardian warrior. With her great stamina, speed, agility, and reflexes she protects Asgard, the human race, and Thor's dearest Jane Foster. Greg sketches Lady Sif with her mighty sword in hand as she prepares for battle and proves to be one of Marvel's great warriors along side Thor. This preliminary sketch is also a part of the variant cover Greg had painted for issue #8 of Marvel's The Mighty Thor.
