Description:
Unique beauty, stunning eyes, and signature bangs combined make the iconic 1950's pin up model, Bettie Page the "Queen of Pin Ups".

At an early age Bettie Page found a love for drama in high school when she actively participated in acting classes. She continued her career in the Fine Arts when she ventured to study drama in NYC. On her path, she met a photographer who admired her figure and asked her to pose. Dreaming of more Bettie, found a career in modeling and posing for photographers from this very encounter.
Bettie Page's early career involved her working with a photographer to create the first of many pin-up calendars. Not long after her popularity grew! She posed for dozens of photographers throughout the 1950s and became one of the first pin up models. Her playful, sexy, and confident attitude led her to pose for Playboy in the centerfold in the January 1955 issue.

Little did Bettie know, her career would later land her a story in the comic book world. Dave Stevens in the early 1980’s launched a comic book series staring the Rocketeer, a stunt pilot who discovers a stolen rocket-pack that allows him to fly and go on many adventures. One of those many adventures being with his GIRLFRIEND the gorgeous bombshell Bettie Page! Greg captures the flirtatious fun between the two characters. Greg always looks to give fans a little more than just a drawing. He tells a story. He tells a story using rendering, positioning, and the action and interaction the characters have between each other in each picture.
