Description:
This is a preliminary sketch for the next Marvel Variant cover that Greg Hildebrandt will be painting for the upcoming Thanos issue. Greg captures Thanos’ brutal nature as he walks across the skulls and death without care. In one hand, as he walks he crushes a skull and tosses one in the air simultaneously crushing it. When Greg works on preliminary sketches, he plans out the setting, where the character, or characters go, and where the main focus is. In this sketch it is hard to miss the massive villain marching across the page.
