Description: There are few who do not know the series, Star Trek. Started in the 1960's, the series was created by Gene Roddenberry, and follows a ship and its crew through the explorations of space in the 2260's! Now, in the year 2019, Star Trek will make its next great comic book debut with IDW Publishing! Join Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov on their next great adventure! This is Greg's first time working on this incredible interstellar crew and its iconic ship, the Enterprise. When planning this Black Board, Greg drew from some of his favorite artists of the 60's for inspiration. There are amazing contrasts, a beautiful starry sky, and a new landscape to explore! Greg captures every bit of these character’s histories, personalities, and lives throughout this drawing. He does so by playing with the posing of a characters and their facial expressions. Greg is an expert at drawing out a character’s personality in his pieces. Whether it be our American Beauties, Marvel super heroes or an Intergalactic space fairing crew, Greg always gives us more to love as a story teller and painter. A piece like this is a wonderful addition to any collection. It is a landmark in Greg's career to be known for painting both Star Wars and Star Trek! Mixed Media on Black Board.
